I arrived in bright sunshine at Langho and Helwith Bridge only to be rewarded with cloud at both locations when the train arrived...the curse of 2012 goes on LOL.

Very much, thanks. It got me thinking about what these locos where built to do, and where, and what this one found itself doing today. Would like to know how much of the fire was where it should be after a bit of 60 mph running down the other side of the S&C! All praise to the crews for hanging on in there.

Well it's 03.30 am insomnia.....again, but I must say personally that is the best footage I have seen all year and will be hard to better. I have a fondness for Gresley designs and TGM is up there at the top in my opinion. The crew seemed to be enjoying themselves too, from the whistle antics, which with its shrill note reminded me of the film The Lavender Hill Mob.............Im sure the passengers had a great day out too..many thanks for sharing your efforts ......superb....

An excellent crop of videos and stills, lads! Well done and thanks for publishing them. The Fellsman is timed for the 8F, and it looks like 61994 coped well with the schedule. Her acceleration from a standing start at Whalley was especially impressive. I think she qualifies as a "Really Useful Engine"!
