In Shep Woolley's picture, and even more so in Neil Scott's, reflection of vegetation makes the loco look as if it's painted green.

I noticed that too, I reduced the level of green in my shot to try and remove that from the locomotive. There's a nice mix of colour at the lineside when the sun's out at the moment, the grass is a blonde-yellow mixed with the green from other plants.

Must have been, myself and a mate of mine were down in the field. Lovely day up north, I spoke to someone at Whalley who told me that he didn't bother going up because the forecast was crap - sometimes you've got to gamble!

Just in case anyone else was baffled too

“Who are ‘Gog and Magog,’ that surround and threaten the ‘saints,’ as mentioned in Revelation 20:7-8?”

Here is the full text that elicits consideration.

“And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them” (Revelation 20:7-9 — ASV).

Well to be fair if I'd checked the times I would have seen that it stops at Long Preston for two minutes, which explains the shut off.

So I shan't be trampling on Gordons Fuschias just yet. lol
