I'm hoping she will return with British Railways on her tender again.

If an overhaul is undertaken at the loco owner's expense then in all likelihood said owner will be subsidising the railway on which the loco runs. I seriously doubt any loco earns sufficient money from hire/steaming fees alone to meet the cost of an overhaul. One disadvantage from a railway's point of view is that a loco owner can up sticks and move elsewhere.

Let's hope she goes visiting other railways at some point.

That's the plan. During her first running period at the NVR we sent her to the Bluebell three times and both the NYMR and MHR once.

With the amount of Bulleids that could be running with in the next four to five years maybe one of the preserved railways could have a Bullied weekend. I’m sure this type of event would be well attended.

A Bulleid bash on the GC would be good. Spams passing each other on double track would be very nice indeed.

I think 34081 moving to wansford is better for both railways . The NVR is short of steam motive power and Weybourne has no need of a pacific to pull 4 or 5 coaches when a pannier or similar would suffice .
Any chance of hiring the D49 for the peak season ? The nearest we will get to a Claud !!
