    Will it return to NYMR?

It's a contract job, the tender is already at Llangollen being prepared for temporary use with 6880. Presumably going back to NYMR when completed.

Having done my first visit to Llangollen earlier this year, I’m struggling to work out what the lorry is doing - do they have to reverse all the way back to the loco sheds? Looks to be right by the station but can’t imagine there’s any space to unload there...?

The lorry will reverse up Abbey Road past the station until it reaches the loco yard access road. It's a very tight turn into the yard, but everything comes & goes this way.

Such loads usually arrive via the A539 from Ruabon. They turn left onto Llangollen Bridge, then reverse (that's what the lorry in the photo is just starting to do) up Abbey Road (A542) until past the entrance to the yard, they then turn right and drive forwards into the yard to unload.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Funny enough , somebody has just made the same comment to me in Llangollen yard while I was having a look at the loco.

I think many on the NYMR would say the same. Look at the 3814 website to see why.

Seems a bit amateur but not anti NYMR?
