But will any of this prevent 4464 from reaching 90mph? I think not.

Is my vague remembrance that the forum software has no UK English spell checker correct?

Indeed not, we can all agree on that I'm sure.

Doubt spellchecker would save you where Hitchin is concerned, which Firefox has unsurprisingly just put a red line under.

Yet Safari completes it correctly once I've input "hitc". Isn't technology wonderful yet baffling? :)

Depends, if the men in charge at NR for the dispensation are incorrectly typing too, you could be doing a steady 55mph ( 90km/h )....

never mind can't spell St Newts. Let's just pray the wires stay up tomorrow. 60 mph gusts forecast for Yorkshire tomorrow morning. Very unlucky, only one really windy day up here this autumn, tomorrow is the second.

Not to mention the on-train announcements on London Midland which constantly remind 'to to take all of your belongings with you' and the classic 'the next station is Euston our final destination'!?

Yes, I'm sure we all know now there are two 'i's' in Hitchin but how many know there is only one 'ef ' in Fulham?

4468 at Kings Cross in Saturday? That I've got to see. :) looks like you won't be seeing 60009 though. 70013 reported as the motive power now.
