"Reports suggest that so far no horror stories have been found".....taken from the latest Bahamas journal with the work ongoing at Tyseley. Also an excellent article on the LNWR 0-8-0's............a nice little journal well worth the annual membership....

Visited TLW two days ago. Wheels out of frames and boiler off. Tubes out. NDT undertaken and the areas of necessary remedial work have been identified; generally there are in the places we had anticipated. Meanwhile at Ingrow most of the small parts have already been refurbished and work has been undertaken on the tender chassis, the tank having been sent to a contractor as a template for the new one. Work continues to refurbish the internal space inside the Learning Coach which is now situated in the dock at Ingrow.

Since Galatea and leander are hot topics at the moment this is the next one to get excited about. I had trouble getting info, does anyone know her status?

Is this the right place to get excited about a green Jube? I seem to have mentioned the colour that I like on these lovely loco's and I've been told off! :) A green Jube though, if you've got eight pints of blood pumping round you and that dosn't excite you I don't know what will.

looks as though shes progressing well, the boiler is certainly having some major work though...
Look forward to hearing that double chimney roar again one day.
