They really have got a move on with her! Was she moving under her own power or just in light steam (being as I can see light exhaust from the chimney in the second shot)?
March still seems ages away, but it'll come round! Great pictures.

It was only said that she'd carry BR green, they never said what name she'd carry! It's an outrage!
Why wasn't there a poll on the name?
How do we know that some people haven't paid 1,000s to have her not carry the 'Duchess of Sutherland' plates?
We need a magazine investigation into all of this!

Interesting and I assume its due to a change in perspective without the smoke deflecters in place but the scale and length of her double chinmey seems so much more pronounced in that video.

Hang on the issue of smoke deflecters and in green livery - I don't want to start an argument.

If you look closely at the nameplate she now carries the name www.prclt.co.uk :)

I must say that the PRCLT deserve massive praise in getting a loco of that size back in service after just a year. Just shows how well they looked after her.

Its good to see her back in one piece, and in steam, Getting onto the livery question, has the trust got enough money from the poll to allow 6233 to be repainted during her next 10 year ticket into either BR blue or maroon? because then if they have, then the trust in my view should do so i would expect that during the ten years she will need a repaint at some stage ? As she has already been put into black, i would prefer to see her repainted into a livery she has not carried in preservation i would think that a couple of years in green, 5years in LMS red and the final 3 years in either blue or Br maroon would keep her fresh and keep the interest in her and more importantly funds coming in, anyone disagree ?

Martin perhaps you forget the original plan from the trust, the colour selected by the poll for 12 months or maybe a bit longer before reverting back to Red. Nothing was said about other colours so that's it... No amount of further discussion really has any point.

    Thanks for that Ralph

Martin go to the website and look at it month by month to see what is needed to overhaul the engine ,what as been archived is fantastic in 12 months by volunteers .
