4F 44422 at NVR

    An agreement has been to reached to keep 4F 44422 at the Nene Valley Railway until Oct 2010. Nice to see the NVR steam fleet has 2 former S&DJR loco's available for service.

    Also an additional agreement has been reached with the owners of an Austerity 0-6-0 which is in the final stages of overhaul and this will also be based on the railway hopefully for a decent length of time.

    This will bring the line's steam fleet up to 5 operational loco's which is a massive improvement on last year.
