55.022 blasted out of St.Annes tunnel, Bristol, 23 late at 17:44 due to track/signalling problems north of Taunton. <BJ>

Yes Bill sounded lovely. I was lucky to get the loco working hard and accelerating as i saw a post on one of the gen groups that northbound trains were being "talked" through signals,just glad I picked the right place for a change!!

 

Broke the habit of a lifetime today and went out to see a diesel.

Seen passing Wood Green Alexandra Palace and not that far from Palace Gates the above at about right time.

My effort from Knebworth on the return. Too dark for a shot by the time it turned up, so went for video instead. Still put it in B&W as an attempt to hide the stock!
