    So did I, TBQH: they made it awkward with cylinders/power output too - 4/44, 6/99, 6/110.

    Edit: I chose a poor example there! Useful info from Wiki -

    Later, the first number equalled the number of cylinders. After 1956, this number was changed to reflect the engine's displacement for four-cylinder cars.

    IIRC the legendary "Prince Henry" Vauxhall was a 30/98. Wonder if the same was going on there?

    D9000 due to work Steam Dreams trip from King's X - Edinburgh as far as York on Thursday 23rd November. About 08.40 from The Cross. 08.52 passing Hornsey, 9am start at work - perfect!
