Prarie Tank 5526 will be stopping off at Toddington on its way back from llangollen to Buckfastleigh this week. Hopefuly allowing for checks etc it will be in service on saturday, sunday and monday. The second passenger loco is scheduled to be 5619 whilst Sunday sees 7903 Foremark Hall on the dining train. This gives all you BR era photographers 3 western locos in BR livery running on a GWR line. The visit is for a period of only 2 weekends before 5526 will be swapped with 5542 which is on long term loan to the GWSR. Many thanks to the south Devon and the prarie tanks owners. (I'm firing monday so i'll be looking out for some pictures!) of course, all locos suject to availablility

Good news. I saw 5526 at Llangollen last weekend and it looked really good, as did all the others, even the "LMS red one". Shame I'll probably miss seeing it at Toddington but I'm sure there will be some good photos to see.

Wasn't Toddington its first home in preservation?

Due a possible late arrival on friday, it looks likely that saturday's turn for 5526 will be taken by 92203 Black Prince, still hopefull for sunday and monday.
