many thanks @Big Al
Where's UoSA off to next, then? Was hoping to see an LE movement from the NVR, but... w-o-r-k...
On the Swanage Belle tomorrow (Sept 21) and off to York Saturday. Not sure if plans for any more heritage line visits this year. Next mainline tour looks like Nov 23 back from York, so perhaps after a very active summer it is time for some TLC.
East lancs autumn gala in October
Thanks for that - have now booked myself a ticket for Premier Dining with seat for two on that excursion
Does anyone know when 60009 will be moving to the ELR? Might try and see her in full blast on the mainline if I can.
Thu 12th Oct, along with British India Line (as far as Carnforth), according posts in the 35018 thread...

Following a remark someone on here made about a caption to one of my photos, I decided a while ago not to post any more. But, having had a few weeks to think about it, I thought 'Sod it, life's too flippin' short'. So, the person who made that remark (and who is now on my 'ignore' list) can go away and attempt to get themselves a life. I have one, and put it to good use yesterday, 25 October, by going to see 60009 at work on the ELR.
Two shots at the new station at Burrs Country Park and two at Irwell Vale.
