I took this photo an hour or so ago as it by-passed Gloucester station en-route to Paddington on it's return trip to Worcester. It's great to see these Tours running again (re Covid) and I see that they're all fully booked.

Good to see Scotsman out without a minder at the back. Hopefully Scotsman makes it back to London OK. I have watched quite a few videos of the return run and she sounds very odd. Is she chewing piston rings? The timing sounds really off in this video below. Apologies for the armchair analysis.

Same view here. Either that or it's notched back too far. Let's hope it gets back ok.

I also noticed a rather unpleasant repetitive squeak as well when the regulator is open as shown below:

Regulator is shut on that footage . That may be cylinder relief valves pinging

There was another video on social media of 60103 accelerating through a station and the squeaking only starts after the regulator has been opened.

It was also picked up at Norton Jct:

And it was captured at Standish Jct:

Arrived Paddington 21 late. 6 late off Reading, steadily lost more time until it was 20 late at Heathrow Airport Jct. and then it hovered around that until arrival in London.
