    I'm surprised that they could get a path at 60, would it not be better to go at 75 for familiarisation?

    I wouldn't read too much into that, there was an ECS move from Carnforth to Tyseley last week timed for 213mph?

    I doubt DBS crews need familiarising with 75 mph running. It may be a diesel drag though with the A3 in light steam. We'll find out on Tuesday.

    Was at NRM this afternoon, apparently one of the front axles overheated last week and needed some remedial attention, there was much activity under FS! Best guess for the trip south by staff there was late Wednesday ......

    she does look very impressive mind ..
