Full cloud at Ufton this morning. Anyone who doesn't know this spot, it's a level crossing and this view is from the road behind the crossing and behind the fence:

Tornado was going like a 'rocket' (excuse the pun) this morning on the climb to Brewham. It's hard
to believe that it was hauling 14 coaches. Tornado is one hell of a powerful machine. <BJ>

Reported into Plymouth 6 late at 14:25. If the reports are correct, Tornado departed ESD at 12:32, and arrived in PLY 53 mins later at 14:25. Diesel or not, it's still very good. <BJ>

Looks like the word 'dull' comes into everyones light description today !!! any time updates for tonight would be welcome....is it worth standing on Reading station at after 10 ???? Rubbish matches on Match of the Day anyway. Especially when I've just watched Reading win again !!!

WOW!! That is amazing with 14 coaches. My brother saw the train race through Taunton on the up fast line and was on the tail of an HST up from Exeter!!

Can't wait to see her at Twyford but I think I'd better get their a bit earlier than booked time! I think it will worth giving Match of the Day a miss.

That's a average of 60 mph per hour amazing considering heavy train and a few grades it's fair to say tornado has shown its real power was the diesel assisting much on the Devon banks anyone know.
