    IIRC one of the mags reported running in to be at a line nearer to Crewe so the guys that have done the work can supervise the testing more readily I suppose.

    Rileys have just completed a new expansion link for the middle engine probably the last piece before the boiler goes on , see the works.

    Royal Scot is air braked. When overhauled at southall they cut one of the frame stretchers and put it there. Crewe have since changed this and it is now on the front left hand side just in front of the cylinder and goes up with a slight cut out of the smoke deflector. So doesnt look too bad to be honest.
