Only way she would have gone anywhere most of the time.. During her last ticket Llalngollen, Bluebell and North Norfolk were not connected to the national network even if she was passed for main line movement.

I am wondering if 46100 shall be remaining at svr for awhile because she hasn't been scheduled for anything after the gala.

They did say it would be doing running in at a HR. So could be! But on a selfish note i would like to see it move to Barrow Hill the weekend after to line up with Leander and The Unknown Warrior for the LMS gala.

Nothing on the Barrow Hill website about 46100 attending. Having said that I hope it does as I'm thinking of going along. Of course the dream scenario would be 46100 and 46115 lined up together, no doubt it will happen somewhere in the future

Absolutely. For me, 35018 will eclipse both, but I'm still very much looking forward to the return to steam of both 46100 and 60103, and 6023's main line début too, for that matter. Having a favourite class of loco or favourite pre-48 railway doesn't preclude one from appreciating the others, although a bit of light-hearted banter on this forum is always good fun! :)

Your dream may well be coming true as I type these words, as 46115 has arrived at Crewe this afternoon ready to head tomorrows NWCE. I wonder how close the two Scots are to each other, is anyone in the vicinity?

    Cheers,

    Alan

Well strike me down with a feather, who'd have thought it! I know who isn't in the vicinity - yours truly!

Can I now wish for three Duchesses and two Princesses in steam together?

You can see 46115 on Crewe cam 3 on railcams but not 46100 although there were whiffs of steam yesterday from behind one of the carriages.

I think the only way we'll see 46235 steam is if one of us takes up the long slot, goes for a career in politics and when they finally become leader of BCC, then when in office decide to finally go for it and decide to overhaul it! Any takers?
