    It is a shame. The railway played host to the full restorations of 5637 and 7903, both from Barry condition, and yet lost both very quickly after completion because the running line (all 1/2 mile of it!) has never justified their being based there. The railway has the pedigree for locomotive restorations (35027 Port Line had a significant amount of work completed there too), but the railway's aims of extending the running line have long failed to bear fruit.
