    Thanks for posting that Johann, there were a lot of very positive things said and it is reassuring that the GCR is being far more engaged with its supporter base.

    As 5944 posted, Witherslack has a new identity, as shown this weekend. The paintwork is not quite finished but the loco sounded in top form with no obvious steam leaks.

    Witherslack Hall is back in Lbro shed having its permanent paint job completed...and it has lost its Swithland Hall identity.

    Good to see it returned to its true identity (as seen on the GCR during the 1948 locomotive exchanges).

    (EDIT: Yes, I know it is in BR livery and in 1948 it ran with a GW liveried tender. 'As seen' wasn't meant to indicate in the same condition.)
