    70000 got back to Crewe OK. Should now be set for loaded test run on Wednesday.

    Interesting - a Class 67 on the back. Must have been a DBS operation, presumably so that the air brake could be tested?

    On my way down to Dawlish tomorrow evening I shall call in at Pilning....yes I am aware it is PITCH dark on there,purely for sound really,should be working hard. Will move down then to Worle and possibly Taunton if i can keep up (I have failed on all previous attempts to do this!)

    Normally I wouldnt bother with it been at night but as I am on my way down to Devon anyway it would be daft to turn down the opportunity!

    At least when I get to Worle it wont be like the black hole of calcutta............
