34027 has been over Shap when she was in Harry P guise. I think 35005 also went over Shap as well when she was blue. I know 35005 definitely went over the S&C with 13 on. Sounded superb!

I heard she's getting black tinted windows in the cab, blue neon lights under the frames and lowered springs with extra low profile tyres and is being renamed Tania. Something to do with Pete Waterman wanting to reach a younger audience due to the popularity of Tornado after appearing on Top Gear.

    Re: 70000 "Britannia" at Crewe

Where is Britannia taking its mainline trials....I have read recently the tests will be on the Crewe - Shrewsbury - Crewe route?

    Cheers, Lewis

    Re: 70000 "Britannia" at Crewe

That would be a possibillity for the first light engine run (loco & support coach), but as the boiler was only fitted on March 9th it's a bit early to be booking such runs with Network Rail, they do tend to get a bit upset when such runs are booked and then have to be cancelled because the loco's not ready.
