Thanks for those Leon, I will probably go to Bank Quay then. Depends on if I can park anywhere.

I have always found the station staff helpful and accomodating as well.

Thanks for the timings. Will she go down onto the low level/ sidings for a run do we think or stay in one of the end platforms?

    Re: 70000 "Britannia" at Crewe

Here you go, 1 x photo from Acton Bridge, decided to go there as I was not sure about Warrington...

    http://galleryneil.fotopic.net/p68046978.html

Also as a bonus on the way home at Winwick...

    http://galleryneil.fotopic.net/p68046979.html

2 Pacifics for the price of one, I didn't know about the LE move for Tornado until I spoke to a couple of guys at Acton Bridge and I was very lucky with the weather as the shot with 70000 would have been into the sun if out. Nice to see Chris and Ralph there.

    Re: 70000 "Britannia" at Crewe

Thanks Mark, as I mentioned earlier due to having no info about Warrington I decided to play safe and go further south. At Winwick there were a couple of people who had conflicting info about the test run and the run to Carnforth later. Apparently 70000 was at Dallam was the last I heard when I left Winwick at 11.50.

And well done to all concerned and hope all was well for tomorrows loaded test which I will not get to see.
