It tends to be SD that gets a hit quite a lot actually rather than the RTC, but neither is immune.

Hounslow area this morning, all the Reading and Windsors were calling at Hounslow today too, due to engineering work on the Richmond line.

Lo0ks and sounds like the diesel is "at last" doing nothing. Perhaps someone had a word with the driver suggesting he reads his Sunday newspapers and not to pull the handle.

With a bit of luck the engine has seized up.
Pushing for all it's might in Royals Pete's Earley video as well as leaving Wokingham.
Not to mention what kelal said at Hildenborough.
If the THING is attached for shunting moves at the "other end" that should be it. All other times it should be shut down.
That is the point I'm trying to make, not so much It's presence but what what it does other than the intended reason for being there.

Good old buseng! Whenever a diesel pops up then so does he! Yes I would agree that it does sometimes appear that diesel assistance is provided when not required, but there are also many tours when a diesel, if seen at all, is not heard. How about praising them?

According to RTT, 70013 has been sat at Bromley South for nearly an hour now when it was due to stop there for just 3 minutes... problems? Nothing appears to be delayed around it.

I don't think its in the platform as other trains have gone through the same platform since but its certainly gone missing. I was planning to head to Ascot to have a look.

Failed at Bromley South with lubrication related issues. Passengers transferred to SouthEastern services.

Still progressing on RTT though, unless it's running as empty stock.

Emails on SE Gen now saying some passengers aboard and the train will continue to Reading.

The irony of it! After all the moans about diesel on the back, now Ollie has apparently failed, imagine how long it would have taken to send a diesel from(presumably?) Southall. Someone at WCRC must have been clairvoyant when they assigned a diesel on the back for this one.

Has 70013 been totally removed? Even if it has, it's still taken well over an hour to get the train moving again with a "D" present.
