well i was going to upload some pictures for you all to show the progress off the repaint, but it won't let me, i can assure you it is coming along well though. All the rubbing down is nearly complete, she will be going into the paint shed at Churston this coming tuesday to start the painting.

The 7800 Torquay nameplates are also here now finished bar the lining and look very good. As has been mentioned, she will only be running as this for the Heritage weekend, afterwards we'll change her back to 7827 Lydham Manor, but she will stay in the BR Lined livery for the remainder off her boiler ticket.

    Well... The Manor is Black.

The first gloss coat is on. She looks absolutely fantastic, it will be tight but she will be out in time for our Heritage Festival, 28-30 May! This is going to be a great weekend, come along and see for yourselves!

7827(7800) looks great, the guys working on her have been doing a great job, working very long days, nearly all of the work has been done in "volunteer" time. A lot of staff have been working silly hours, in spare time, after work and all that sort of stuff!

Come along and see what we have to offer!

The 7800 & 7827 Smokebox Numberplates and Shed plate turned up today. Look very smart, the lining is coming on very well too. She certainly does suit black very well!
