I'd like to congratulate you on creating a paragraph with absolutely no punctuation whatsoever. You only spoiled it by capitalising the first "I".

He didn't actually refer to your spelling at all. He referred to the fact you didn't use commas or full stops in your post.

Perhaps a little thought is needed before pressing the submit button. I know i always read over my posts at least once before I click it, perhaps you could do the same...? :-k

I don't understand why people feel they have to repeatedly keep banging on about Mr.Ashleys problem. Can someone tell me what they are trying to prove...... or do they get some sort of satisfaction from being offensive. We all know that Jud has a problem, what is the point of going on about it? The situation is not going to change, get used to it or don't bother reading what he posts.
And I am NOT here to stand up and defend Jorden Ashley, I feel sure he can cope quite well without me sticking my 2 p worth in. I'm just ever so slightly brassed off with people on the forum causing unnecessary trouble.

    Going off topic????

Can't see how it's offensive advising someone to check their posts before posting... unless you were referring to James's post.

Infact nothing of what i said was nasty or offensive. You say he has a problem... but i was under the impression it was spelling related... not punctuation.

I can't see the point of this snide remark. I read over them to check they make sense... so now i need glasses? ](*,)

    • A press release from the National Railway Museum:

"The National Railway Museum and Eastleigh Railway Preservation Society are now in discussions with the Mid Hants Railway with a view to forming a new operating agreement for Lord Nelson, which will see the locomotive housed on the Mid Hants Railway and operated jointly by the partners. This will enable the operation of the locomotive both on the Watercress Line and on the main line railways thus fulfilling the requirements of the NRM and of the Heritage Lottery Fund, who supported the overhaul of the locomotive on the basis that it would be available for the enjoyment of the broadest possible audience in the South of England, on lines for which the locomotive was originally built."

Further information will be released in due course.

Well I never! And to think someone once said Nellie would never go near the MHR!
Just goes to show that the contract is mightier than the internet forum.

Has anyone any idea if "Nellie" has moved to Carnforth yet from the GCR in readiness for its trip to Scarborough on 29 November or when it may be going.

It was still in Loughborough yesterday!

I understand that after a steam test last Wednesday it needed one or two additional minor jobs doing, but more than that I don't know.
