Just to let you all know that Lord Nelson is to be loaded at York today/tomorrow for onward transit to Toddington to star at their gala.

Hello Bill, sorry no idea, I'm in Shildon and 850 is in York. I've just sent D8000 back to York and the lowloader will take 850 onwards from there. I'm afraid it's a wait and see.

    Enjoy!

    Cheers
    Anthony

Today 850's smoke box was facing outwards of the shed at the NRM

Can anyone from the NRM confirm that #850 will now be based at the MHR as mentioned elsewhere on here? I take it the ML connection played a part in the decision if it is.

Not heard this meself. Mind you, been on holiday the last week in Kent, KESR, Sittingbourne, Bredgar, EKR, Dover transport Museum and more traction engines than you can shake a stick at. Brilliant.

It wasn't mentioned 2 weeks ago when I was at York. Will ask when I see colleagues on Wednesday.
