    Glad to hear it, after witnessing 76017 at the GWSR at the recent gala, I think 76077 would make a very fine, and practical addition to the fleet.

    Last update on Facebook was in Nov last year. Appears to be a one man band, seeking help with the project but not specifying how others can help. Doesn't appear to be a limited company or charity associated with the scheme, so any donations may not be ring fenced for construction.

    I think this is dead in its current form. Maybe another group or individual could step in to revive it (and give it the more logical number 77020). I'm sure there would be plenty of opportunity to share costs, patterns etc with the class 3 tank group at the SVR and possibly the class 2 tank group at the Bluebell.

    I joined the group not long after it launched and was sent a membership card. However, I have been unable to contact anyone involved for over 2 years so I guess the answer is "yes, abandonment."
