So are we now expecting some light and loaded test runs?

I think it's due to run in at the Severn Valley first, then probably mainline test runs, like 60007, 70000 and 61306 (I think), have all done.

61306 came to the valley for crew familiarisation along with testing for the new air brake system.

60532 is due past my mess room window this coming week with test runs due later in the week.

With a ;) at the end I had hoped it would be taken as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek remark.

There's test runs booked in the working timetables for next week (on SVR live).
Suspect we might see out sooner though.

Why do i get this picture in my mind of several drunken friends of mr H, saying i know where to get an engine from, and stealing in the dead of night, something from York NRM, almost like out of the titfield thunderbolt, except that Mr H,already has a shed full of them Would the NRM notice a gap where 6229 was , and how would they hide it at crewe, other than by painting it to resemble, an overturned bathtub, :D
