    The Vale of Rheidol Railway recently sourced some platform lamps for installation at Devil's Bridge, the eastern terminus of the line. These are gas lamps, which are to gas lit on the platform, using a LPG system. When the lamps were delivered, Avonside Engine Co. works-plates were found already attached. Whilst Avonside's locos are well known, how well known are they for manufacturing gas lamps? Any insights would be very much appreciated.
