    Then with the old system your mates would give it 5* and then hurl abuse at anyone who dared to 0 or 1 rate it. I used to take great delight in 0 or 1 rating crap videos, but now ratings don't exist, it's very un PC to hurt peoples feelings by telling them they take rubbish videos..:mmph:
    People originally told me I was doing things wrong, I listened and hopefully learned.

    Never watched much you tube stuff until recently so never got involved in the old system Ralph. Trouble is some of these people may become hardened enthusiasts and will then really regret not keeping it simple and ending up with 20 seconds of good video. Rather than 45 seconds or longer of crap. If in doubt let the train do the moving and nothing else.

    The same applies to some extent to my early still photography. Really wish I'd gone for a lot more shots of stationary locos in stations with all the signals etc around them. But mainly went for lineside stuff with a camera that could barely cope with the speed. And ended up with a lot of similar shots.

    Never mind, there are a few very good video guys who post here on Nat Pres. No matter where in the UK it is I do enjoy it.
