If he likes the Red Arrows, make sure you don't miss The Blades at 4.24pm - 4 former Red Arrows pilots in planes which were designed for aerobatics (as opposed to the Hawk Trainers used by the Reds)

Don't know about that. Given the rarity of public trips behind 46115 I'd be pretty miffed if I'd been booked on it only to find the trip cancelled. Just glad I decided to do the S&C trip on the 2nd.

Just booked for the family. Evidently loads of seat left... Spread the word! Publicity only hit the wires on Monday this week. Looks like an interesting run with a family day out to boot! =D>

Was booked to come back this morning, all i know was booked through Shipley at 11:30.

Also i've just noted that if 46115 is booked through Hellifield at 11:47 then both 5690 and 46115 may pass up at Settle Junction... :-k

Just read on Railway Herald that First Transpenine Express has a discount package available to get participants home. it gives the same telephone number as for booking, shame it wasn't mentioned whilst booking.

I'm now waiting for replies from FTPE and railway herald to clarify, visit blackpool tourist office have no knowledge of any discount offers from FTPE.

reply from First Trans penine Express say's they are NOT offering any discounted fares.
