Unfortunatly the 100 seater is out of traffic for rewireing but 7598, the LBSC First, and SR Van B 404 will be in the train.

It's looking better if 1638 will be ready in time. I'll be there on the Saturday, so hope to see a few familiar faces there. I'll probably be the one drooling over 34059!

I'll be down on Saturaday now as well. I'll probably be drooling over 34059 as well.

Archie is a fabulous machine, last saw her, woops, him running in June, looking forward to a great two days, one day riding, and one day filming on the footpath near Leamland.
Is there an extra charge for the brake van trip?

When it was done last year, it was for a donation. However, earlier this year it was £2 or £3.

Am I reading that correctly? The first train leaves Kingscote on Saturday at 12:05pm!

    An afternoon gala?

I didn't believe that either, but I've just rung the Bluebell they have confirmed that the first train won't leave Kingscote until 12.05.

Plenty of movement at HK and SP before. First moves are light engine to HK at 9.45 and 10.00
and Goods HK to SP at 10.35. A bit surprised that the first train isn't north from HK (11.17) and 12.05 doesn't encourage people to travel to KC by rail and bus for, as you say an afternoon gala, but I'm sure there are reasons.
However well done to the organisers for getting things rearranged at short notice and putting on a show.

    Regards,

    Dave G.

Thanks for those extra times, will have to try and catch a light engine going up if I can get out of bed in time!

My Dad and I will be lineside on Saturday but am I reading it correctly that the Dukedog will only haul the Goods Train at 10:35am from HK tender first and will not have a run up back up the line chimney first with the Goods?

Hope not, would be pretty pointless if so, only the passenger times are listed so it may fit in somewhere, would like to get some footage!

9017 is scheduled to work both 'Up' and 'Down' goods trains on both days. Details including timings will be available as per usual in the event souvenir timetable on sale at Booking Offices.

Thanks Chris, we'll buy a timetable guide first thing on Saturday to check when 9017 hauls the Goods chimney first out of S.P. The weather looks a bit iffy for the w/e unfortunately so let's hope the weathermen have got their predictions wrong again and we get some sun.

Exactly what I'm thinking at the moment, if only it can be like last weekend!
