Tom do you have a rough idea of when 21c123 (blackmoor vale) will be finished.

There is, as I understand it from reading various posts on here no such thing as a '10 year certificate', each boiler bring decided on its merits. However 10 years seems to be the accepted upper limit in most cases. Others will be able to provide chapter and verse on the subject.

I don't think 21C123 is being worked on in any serious way (currently shunted out the way at Horsted, or at least was last time I went) and presumably the Bulleid Society won't touch it at least until 34059 is back in service and running well. Then it becomes 21C123 vs. 96...

  4. what train is number 96.

I believe that there is definately a plan for a goods train - hopefully a bit longer than the 3 or 4 wagons being run in the Summer

As I said before, when I know more I'll update. But my assumption right now would be that it isn't out for GoS. If 73082 is available, we have five engines for basically four paths. If 73082 isn't available, we have four for four. So as far as I can see, we only really need one of the smaller engines if two of the rostered five aren't available.

In the meantime, this page is your friend: http://www.bluebell-railway.co.uk/bluebell/loco_roster.html Looks like 592 will be on the public B service (11:00 / 1:30 / 4:00 ex-SP and an hour later ex-EG) this coming weekend, after which it swaps to the various dining trains for the rest of October.

Would not look right in BR black with its current chimney - by BR days they had shorter ones than the SECR one currently carried. Not point in painting it if you don't do it right so better to leave it as it is.

    Just my view

Indeed. I seem to recall that the current tall chimney was formed by joining the bottom half of one chimney and the top half of another, back when such things as "spare C class chimney" could still be had from Ashford works!

It was finished in 1885 and remains "finished" to this day.

According to the Bluebell's facebook page, the freight is to run during part of the day, with a passenger service operating in that path for the rest of the day. Also, good news with Camelot, boiler has now been cleared by the insurance company and there are photos of it moving around Sheffield Park

  15. Out of all the trains that are under overhaul and waiting for a overhaul can you possibly give me list of the order that they would roughly be finished in.

34059 - awaiting completion of repairs to boiler being carried out a Crewe.
    After that 80151 and 928.
Next the most likely is 32424,
    then finally 27 and 84030.

    Waiting for overhaul

65 a spare boiler is being overhauled at Floor Mill so will probably return after 34059 and before 80151 and 928.

I do not believe anything has been decided regarding the rest but Fenchurch and the Dukedog are likely.
The rest will will be dependant on funds raised and/or support groups so I consider both 1618 and 21C123 strong possibilities.

Probably better discussed on the dedicated thread, but likely to be in the order 73082 - 34059 - 65 - 80151 or 928. 32424, 27 and 84030 in some order thereafter would be my best guess.

    Hi,
