    Hi all

Can anyone tell me if Bressingham have got the 15" 4472 running yet? saw it a few years ago whilst it was on display before they stripped it down and not heard/seen anything since.

    Thanks in advance

    Whats it waiting on?

Funds? parts? time? or a combination of all 3.

Not a huge fan of LNER but in this scale it was a hugely impressive model. would love to see it work sometime

I was at bressingham on fathers day just gone and the locomotive is sitting in bits in the engine shed. I didnt think to ask how long it will take for them to overhaul the locomotive. But it looks like its a long way from completion.

Probably all 3 and the fact it will be no use to them there - having scale wheels it will probably struggle with the trackwork.

Unless its a different 15inch gauge Flying Scotsman, theres a picture of it a New Romney taken in 1979 pg 56 of 'Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway in colour by Derek Smith

Is this loco still in the same stripped down state or has any work been done since it was last photographed?

I believe it was sold / part exchanged with a dealer (either GNS or Station Road Steam) in return for the Exmoor Steam Railway 'St Christopher' that now runs at Bressingham.

GNS are offering a 15" 4472 on eBay for more than Statfold want for a 24" quarry Hunslet. I know which I would rather have, the green one of course. (JACK LANE) at a push I would settle for STATFOLD,
