    What era are these and are they BR says worn by station staff never seen them

    There's not a mark on the inner band of that hat, so I would lay money that it has never been worn. It also looks far too new to be of any age, I suspect it is a newly made 'retro look' hat.

    As for being used on BR, I've never seen a hat like that in photos - it looks more like a French style to me. I am open to correction of course!

    Says in listing they was issued to br staff
    Seller says they was issued to BR customer service staff at station and got it in a batch of br uniform items

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Something makes me think Connex had that type of hat - not that I travelled with them much.
    That would at least fit in with the French style! (and the sellers location)
