You used to work for one of the big slide processing companies! Admit it! (wink, LOL)

    Cheers,

19 late through Sole Street and not that far behind what I assume was an all stations to Swanley, (at least), train.

So not quite the spectacle of sound and vision I'd hoped for as there couldn't have been much sense in hurrying with certain checks in front! The signal NW of the station had only just turned to green, so there may have even been a check on the climb.

But a nice rythmic exhaust, seemingly effortless with circa 500 tons of train. I am hopeless at estimating speeds from the lineside but I'd guess low 30s at the summit.

Shame the pathway was lost for for those on board. The schedule from Rochester to Bromley South was quite good for that part of the SR these days.

It's getting quite hard to photo from that bridge now. The vegetation is quite a problem.

    My video - two locations.

The Cathedrals Express, 35028 Clan Line,19 July 2012. - YouTube

The first location, near Polhill tunnel, is suffering from the same problem that Bryan was commenting on at Sole Street - vegetation.
A Buddleia is threatening to obscure this shot for all but those with the tallest stepladders.
    Excellent photo Bryan.

So disappointed that I had to cancel my trip on this hours before departure. Work rang up and cancelled my day off.....Grrrrrrr

It looked like quite a really nice trip.
