Certainly no support coach when it departed from Stratford to turn on the triangle.
The coach next to the loco in each direction today was of the 'green train' rake. <BJ>

Super pictures Rick, thanks, especially love the last one. You must have been stood right next to steamvideo who posts on YouTube when you were at Kings Sutton!

You are not wrong there Mark, a superb performance from 30777 and her crews. 30777 did have a little trouble getting out of Stratford but it was nothing much compared to 34067 a few years ago. The climb of Wilmcote Bank was excellent and will stay in the memory. They certainly put the old girl through her paces on Friday. After the trip had finished she had to do all of the shunting of the ECS as well.

Regarding the support crew, they did not have a coach for this trip and sat in one of the Green train carriages (first behind the loco on the outward run and the last coach on the return run).

Also a superb departure on the return leg climbing out of Banbury , looking forward to the Kent run next week.

Back as Sir Lamiel I understand from Mr.Bunker they raffled the King Arthur plate on board the tour.

Anything slips coming out of Stratford really, if a curving uphill start isn't tricky enough the only bit of line then regularly gets used is the middle bit of plat 1, the headshunt and plat 2 are usually rusty and covered in all sorts of slippery gunk through lack of use.

Matt were you at the gated crossing at Wilmcote Bank when the mink was scurrying about on Friday?

We never heard the result of the raffle in our coach and didn't know if it had actually been drawn. One of the stewards said 30777 is back to her normal guise on Thursday. Somebody had given out duff info telling us that she was running as King Arthur for 2 trips. Apologies for posting this earlier in the thread.

30777 was sitting in Southall shed on Saturday in its normal identity. Had hoped to see her as King Arthur as I missed it on the Friday.

Marcus came through the dining carriages calling & holding the winning ticket, holding it aloft so it probably went to one of those carriages.
