    Can deal with the rain Steve, I just don't fancy those gale force winds which are predicted. Good luck anyway, I look forward to the footage.

    For those few who are going out for this tomorrow, there will be a 50mph TSR on the WCML north of Preston because of the wind. So expect late running...

    This weather has the potential to adversely affect our train services and as such we will operate with blanket speed restrictions of 40 mph from 22:00 Friday 4 December until 12:00 Sunday 6 December on the following routes:
    • Skipton - Carlisle
    • Skipton – Lancaster
    • Hall Royd – Preston (Both)
    • Preston – Lancaster
    • Workington - Lancaster

    A really strong sideways wind on a climb adds a coach or two to the load. Could be an interesting day for those who are travelling.

    I not be out got housework to do and a jumper to finish etc . A tip I would give you though Steve is get something hot inside you first thing,It sets you up for the day.(works for me lol)
