    Went well out of Euston this morning, the 47 was doing some of the work (no surprise) but Mayflower was really going for it to get a run at Camden Bank

    It's not just the 15 minute stop either, steam engines (especially on heavy loads) without diesel assistance take an awful lot longer to accelerate back up to line / permitted speed than anything else on the line in a similar position (maybe a 66 on a fully laden liner excepted, although it would probably still win a head-to-head).

    Try using manual focus. Zoom to Max and focus on that image. Leave on man focus and everything apart from really close objects will be sharp. It works--honest.
