As you know West Byfleet is quite posh, so the freshly baked croissant will be silent, but I can't guarantee the muesli wont drown out the noises of the fireman trimming the tender. At least I wont have to get up at sparrow fart.

Looks like its a water stop, the bowser is here . No doubt the local press will report it as a train on fire

Better than reporting it as West Byfleet on fire following a grass dryness test!

Well this morning was decidely mixed - stupidly decided to go to see 34046 leave Alresford, only to have a complete white out thanks to the drain cocks and was bowled by a highway's agency van on Medstead Bank! Thankfully, the departure from Bentley was diesel-free...

Now racing back home to get back for work, hope for better luck tonight at Hampshire Hunt Bridge and Alresford!

EDIT: Pressed send by mistake... Braunton looked and sounded superb at Bentley - thanks to the support crew for turning her out time and time again in such a good condition.

Through a faintly tropical Chiswick at 10:17. First time I've seen water being taken at this location. See pic 2. Left arrow from first image takes you to the second:

This mornings stop at West Byfleet. Good quiz material as well, what is the significance of the route disk changing in the scene?

    Very nice too.

Not sure I ever had a stop at West Byfleet behind steam. Would have been a signal stop if I had, but don't remember one.
