Will 44932 make it back tonight? The videos I have seen so far show that she has that drain cock problem again which seemed to be getting worse as she neared Cardiff. It was the same sound (squeaking)that preceded this problem last year:

Why would sticking draincocks prevent it getting home ?, I thought them being stuck open was an LMS trademark.

I wondered if she was chewing piston rings again?

She did sound wheezy but did just seem a drain cock issue, no out of beat exhaust like on the duchy video above.
My first trip to Severn Tunnel Junction, was good to be there.

Ah with you now, hopefully not, but can't blame you for being suspect of 44932.

Through Westbury, all you could hear was the draincock, and the roar of the 47. Being pushed home methinks

I think I was standing next to you. Looks lovely in your video. Thanks for posting. I hope my still photo comes out just as well! You must have motoroed some to have followed 44932 to Bathampton and then back to Mayford for 35028.

Nothing new there then and clearly not the SRPS stock. No probs, they've had all the SD layover period since Xmas to sort it out..........

Was definitely not a Pullman Style dining experience sat across from someone wearing a hat and scarf.

Heating was out all the way to Cardiff, supposed to have been fixed there but the whole train appears to have been without until Salisbury.

Marcus assures us that it was sorted at Salisbury. And vapour seemed to increase after Salisbury.

    Hi John,

There was a little group on that bridge over the river. Was it you, on my left, that was recovering from the cold? For once the M4 was relatively quiet, which allowed me to get back for Clan Line.

    Dave.

Went threw Addlestone this evening very fast, slightly early and the diesel on rear seemed to be just dead weight?!

To me it is wonderful that there are others here like me who do not know the various classes of box!
