For those going out for this timings are now on the Cathedrals Express website. Was beginning to think it had been cancelled as there are still no times on uksteaminfo. Hoping to see this at Guildford as I am heading there to try and finish the Christmas shopping.

Long wait in the Lenham loop - presume water/coal/pathing issues

I may be going to Woking. There's a 10 minute stop there so I might be able to get some pictures (3rd time lucky for some front end shots) 1hr and 21 mins journey by train from Haywards Heath with a change at Clapham Junction which isn't bad.

Would people say Woking was a good place to take pictures.

Reported on WRGEN that Tornado already at Eastleigh DBS shed and presumably will run direct from Eastleigh with the ECS Ta varios on WRGEN DH

I may try to catch it at Clapham as well. As i can get 1 of 3 trains that get to Clapham before Tornado gets there

Woking is OK, a busy station. I have never seen a tour come in from the West before (i.e. not from London) but Matt who is on this forum took a good picture of 44932 the other day which was coming from the West...

60163 stops tho and is coming from Guildford so not sure what platform she will be arriving in.

Yes I just saw that so if you are at the end of platform 5 she should snake across the crossovers nicely! However you may very well have a unit or two in your way if you choose that! Good luck!

    evening Dan,

aye Woking isn't too bad mate, but as ahs has said, (cheers for using my pic as an exmaple mate :) ) You have a fairly high chance og being bowled at woking, but if she is coming into platform 1, you can get a shot of it coming in as per my pic, and then go down to platform three to get a pic of it leaving :)

    see you up there, cheers
    Matt

I'll be there too, wandering around with my iPhone trying to get some good shots. Say hello, and get ready to rush around the station, the platforms are really long there!!! :)
