I'd like to see all trains piloted up the bank by Thomas with his cheery face, that should draw in plenty of extra punters ;)

Well thanks all for that info. I think a diversion to Cauldon Lowe will be manageable.

Oh dear. I hope he is well for his summer jollies around other railways to see his friends! Nothing serious I hope?

Well we've been hard at it again today in the rain, finishing off the loop at Cauldon ready for the gala. Spreading ballast and changing out a few chairs ready for the tamper which was getting stuck in mid-afternoon. Also tidied up the old weighbridge and siding area to remove trip hazards for the engine crews when running round.

Anyone any idea yet which loco will work T1 diagram and which will work T2 at the Gala ... and which way each is facing? I particularly want to see 5199 before it goes back home.

    T1 - 5199 (Cauldon Arr: 0930, 1226 & 1526)
    T2 - Black 5 45379 (Cauldon Arr: 1056, 1356 & 1656)

    Hope that helps...
