    I read a report in the main line section of the Steam Beano while waiting for my family in WHSmith yesterday. Still waiting for my copy of Trackside to arrive in the post. Haven't had any post for over a week due to the strikes.

    One would assume that if its down to ASLEF, its a fuss between ASLEF with what was normally a DBS job being done by WCR crews, its strange that Tangmere can operate the Belmont stock on behalf of another tour operator but apparently not on behalf of Belmont itself which would suggest the sticking point is somewhere in the Belmond/DBS agreements/relationships.
