Not really our thing, BUT at around 02-00 this morning a Scania curtainside lorry reg. R88OYND and a Clayton and Shuttleworth Steam Waggon were stolen from Haslemere, Surrey, All that I can ask is that if you see either of these please report to the police.

I have just heard that thankfully both the Scania and the Clayton and Shuttleworth have been found, abandoned near Horsham, I imagine that when the thieves discovered what their 'Load' was they panicked and did a runner.

From another forum so cannot vouch for it.

From what I have been told the lorry and it’s contents have been found, Apparently in a layby and no damage to the cargo. Police are there and hopefully they may catch the scum who did this.

But, I’ve taken it as a wake up call for the security of my stuff!
