So come on then, when was the last time a Merchant Navy double headed with a B1? Did Mayflower and Clan Line ever meet in the 70's and 80's?

 

I did 34018 on the scarborough flyer last year york and back shes quite a impressive but ile guess she will be roaring louder going up shap compared to the scarborough york line

 

It'll be Mayflower's first appearance over the S&C, at least post 1968. Almost certainly the same will apply for Shap also?

 

You would think with load eleven 35018 could push Mayflower all day long after her last few assaults on Shap
