    Yes they are! I "did" Swindon Works & shed that day as well. Remember it was a freezing cold day & treading through the ice covered puddles.
    Travelled there behind Clan Class 72006 on the HCRS? railtour from Paddington.
    Also the picture of the ex GWR mogul at Woodford Halse on 12/10/63 brings back memories as well. It could of been 6368 which double headed 0-6-0 2246 on the Thames, Severn & Avon railtour on that day which I was also on.

    Indeed - it was the day that the Home Counties Railway Society ran a trip to Swindon with 72006 :

    You are probably right about the Mogul. I saw the train arrive at Woodford Halse behind the T9 and we then chased it round the SMJ. There's a series of pictures on Flickr in this Album :
