Does anyone know what stock is being used tomorrow (i.e. what colour!).
It's running under the banner of the Golden Arrow so presumably will be with the VSOE Pullman carriages, my Dad and I will be photting it going through Pluckley station.
It won't be pullmans as it not a VSOE charter
vsoe's are air brake only and 70013 is vac only.
Probably be the Mk2 and Mk3 "Pullman" Train
As Mk3's are air brake only I douubt it will be that rake either. I suspect it will be drawn from the Riviera trains pool of Mk1 coaching stock.
why not the green train ?
dual braked and WCRC operated
since 70013 is vac braked i'm assuming it will be under wcrc
Train delayed by unscheduled stop at Penge East for approx 15 mins.
Stock West Coast Maroon MK1's and a couple of Maroon ex MK1 pullmans with the odd green MK!!.
Flew through Orpington 0928, Working very hard, what a sight!!
Pics to follow.
10 late through tonbridge. Working hard. Next stop folkestone!
Making a lovely sound as it accelerated through Bromley ~0920. Messed up the photos and Dad didn't get a very good video, but it was worth going to hear a Britannia working hard again :smt023
Actually, I am surprised that they have not fitted the 'Golden Arrow' regalia for this trip :-k
Cromwell absolutely thundered through Pluckley Station this morning, a magnificent loco indeed! =D> =D>

I will have a big grin on my face for the rest of the month :-D
I went up to Shortlands tonight in the hope of seeing 70013 power through on the fast line on the return leg. It actually stopped at the station for 5 minutes and we had the pleasure of listening to that two cylinder beat as it departed the station, bang on time.
Video on Youtube when I work out how to edit down the 7 minutes of footage!
