Looks like BR maroon with the DB styling added, still looks good!

Looks good, sounds rubbish, unlike V200 033 which retains it's Maybach power units.

Just checked my old photo album. The only pic I have is of Benbow, either at Ilfracombe or Barnstaple. For some reason I just snapped the cab, and the name plate - that's 11 year olds for you!

Ah but at least you have some record of what you've seen there some of us could only dream of a Warship to Ilfracombe!

    (not my picture)

Yes it is a picture of D832 in BR line black... yes it's a Early logo on the other cab, double headed with a Blue Warship on NSE Mk2 stock... theres only one place that could be.

Bury Bolton Street in the early '90's! I used to like 832 in black it suited it rather well it also suited the 24 a few years later too.

a more modern livery might work too... something like Engineers Dutch might work ?

Load Haul on the 24 looked silly, new liveries on old designs have to adapt to the style of the design, thats exactly what BR did and why some liveries were different between different classes... NSE on a Warship just cut it, but a Western would be better suited.
