D9009 Alycidon roaring up Whiteball Bank and working quite hard with 12 coaches in tow. Enjoy.

Not only was this evenings charter diverted via Westbury and Bath but it also ran via the single track loop to Frome station.

What a fantastic show of power as Alycidon rejoined the main line and accellerated towards Westbury.

That was a sight and sound that will stay with me for many years. <BJ>

D9009 thundering towards Tiverton on the return. Taken from the foot crossing about a mile down the line. The sun came out at just the right time and went in about 20 seconds after the last coach passed. Couldn't have asked for more! :)

Sounds like a good tour from what I've been told. Could hear Alycidon for miles leaving Cheltenham Spa before emerging round the corner at Brockhampton :):):)

Obvious this tour hasn't cured the window-hangers. Might we expect NR to run the Lickey video as evidence in discussions with tour operators?

Why should it ?, no ones said anything to DBS about it so why would they deal with something that's not been flagged as an issue to them, they are not obliged to read mail titled "To WCRC".

    FFS get a life.
Once or twice during the day announcements not to lean out too far.
It was Lickey and it wasn't a VT tour, so passengers were allowed to be responsible for their own actions and enjoy themselves, and if that spoiled someone's video who didn't pay £90 plus towards the running of the tour tough.

Heaven forbid. More window-hanger scenes for Mr. Killjoy. <BJ>

Is the acronym "FFS" within the rules? It didn't spoil my video, it just made me concerned that people more interested in their own pleasure than in preserving the charter facility were giving NR / OR ammunition to shoot down enthusiast charters.
